Picea abies 'Big Wave' is commonly referred to as Big Wave Weeping Norway Spruce. With longer, stiff blue-gray needles and a bluer color than the standard Weeping Norway Spruce, the Big Wave has a strong leader that can be trained to grow in a mounding habit where the width is determined by the grower.
Big Wave Weeping Norway Spruce thrives in full to part sun in average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It is deer resistant and drought tolerant once it is established.
